Doug MacFarland

Doug is a 20 year resident of the Milwaukee area and has raised his family here. He has spent his career in the Information Technology field, holding roles in consulting, software development, project management and senior management. Doug’s education in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research gives him a strong background in business, systems and economic analysis. Doug lives with his family on a hobby farm on the outer edge of Waukesha county. Over the years he has raised many animals, including horses, cows, sheep, goats, and he currently raises turkeys, chickens and barn cats. Doug has always had a dog since before he can remember. They have been his constant companion, and members of the family. They have ranged from a Great Pyrenees, to a Havanese, and many in between. Several have been bird dogs that Doug trained along with his sons. Doug has prided on giving them all the best possible quality of life, a span which has ranged from 12-17 years.
